Holger Hey is an internationally acting networker and consultant, since 2011 founder and managing owner of hey projects KG, an independent agency for consultancy, development and communication in Cologne Germany.
Born in Germany, he was brought up in São Paulo and is specialized in networking affairs also as extraordinarily linked to the markets and the leading clusters of Germany, Brazil, Turkey and Tunisia.
Among his international experiences and activities in several countries, Holger Hey gathered experience in the export oriented Brazilian agribusiness when working as project manager for frunorte - Frutas do Nordeste Ltda in Assu (RN/Brazil), formerly one of the largest fruit-exporters from Latin America, from 1995 to 1996.
Starting from 1997 until 2005 Holger Hey was Project Manager in function as Public Consultant at viamedia (PR-Agency for TV & Media) in Cologne and the Public Consultancy Matrix GmbH & Co.KG in Düsseldorf, responsible for the Communication and Public Relations of several political and economical campaigns and the development of relevant economic clusters in various federal states of Germany also as in Brazil.
From 2005 to 2009, he was Managing Director of the Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TD-IHK) in Cologne and Berlin and worked on numerous international export oriented projects for companies, organizations and governments, thus he is well-versed in the technical also as intercultural skills and competences needed for national and international communication projects.
Starting from 2009 until the end of 2010 Holger Hey returned to the Public Consultancy Matrix GmbH & Co.KG in Düsseldorf, where he assumed the management board in responsibility of international affairs, communications and personell asministration. This engagement resulted consequently in the formation of hey projects KG as specialized international oriented agency, that Holger Hey founded 2011 and manages as owner until today.
Since 2012 he is co-founder and initiator also as speaker of the business-network ´NRW goes to Brazil PLUS` for small and medium-sized enterprises, in partnership with the Government of North Rhine-Vestfalia, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Essen and the EnergyAgency EnergieAgentur.NRW, in order to enhance the possibilities of SME`s to access the brazilian marked via cooperations and distinct projects.
Actually he is also honorary Vice-President of the board from DTFood e.V., a Turkish-German association willing to promote and enlarge the bilateral potentials of food and beverages industry and commerce. As honorary capacity he is also active as Interim-General Manager of the Foundation for intercultural vocational motivation ´Stiftung: Bildung! Egitim!` in Cologne.
Holger Hey speaks fluently German and Portuguese, also as English, French and Spanish. He is being supported by his Key-Team from hey projects KG of multicultural experts for market analysis, media relations, event management and lobbying.
